4)What advice would you give to a friend (or anyone) who has trouble accepting or dealing with people disabil

Listen I think that it doesn't matter what people look like act like or even if they have special needs everyone is the same you just look past it and don't judge a book by a cover get to know them in the end you can wind up teaching them something and that makes you feel wonderful on the inside and it probably will mean a great deal to that person just get to know them before you say no i don't want to hang out with that person I'm friends with all the students in the special ed class and they are just like EVERYONE else

PS Just listen to my advice and give them a chance4)What advice would you give to a friend (or anyone) who has trouble accepting or dealing with people disabil

to just be yourself around them
That he is in fact disabled himself for the sole reason he has no understanding
i would tell them to try and get 2 know those people. i made friends with a blind girl in third grade and also i became frends with the kids at my HS and MS that have mental disabilites. i found out that they are really nice and are human beings, 2.
its called life live by it
if you happen to work with one, use them as an example to explain what is their disadvantage against able people.try to compare disable limited ability on how they survive against the regular function we endure.

let your friend see the difficulty of their lives through your knowledge you've known and learn. also, maybe your friend was never around handicapped person, so they don't know how to cope and deal with unfortunate people.

or maybe, they feel guilty cause they feel helpless not able to assist and they feel their disadvantage is too much to bear? some blame themselves if they did something that cause it so they try to distance themselves?

just let your friend be aware of the facts and hoping it will trigger some compassion and start accepting disability is something everyone should not ignore. they all need us, one way or another.
u really have to look past the disability because this person could really be a great person. See past it! I have a son with special needs and he loves all people
