Can you give me some advice on a crib?

So, we found out a few days ago our daughter's crib was recalled. We returned it and got our money back for it. Here's our dilemma : Should we buy another crib for her or just get a toddler bed with side railings for when shes older. Right now, she either sleeps with us or she really likes sleeping in her play pen. She's 7 1/2 months old. This is our first. When do most children go into a toddler bed?

Thanks! Can you give me some advice on a crib?
I would recommend getting a crib. I dont know when babys go to a toddler bed but I would think it would be when they out grow a crib about 2 years or close. you can get one from a yard sale or craigs list pretty cheap. Or get a 3 in 1 but make sure it has a side on the toddler bed so your lil one doesnt fall out of bed and begin a whole new sleeping issue. I had my baby sleeping in his own crib at 3 months, not quiet through the night but in his own crib in his room. This is only my oppinion and I hope I helpedCan you give me some advice on a crib?
I would recommend a crib for your little daughter. She is still too young for a toddler bed.

Good luck.
I would get a crib that converts into a toddler bed...most kids go to a toddler bed around 2 years old or when they can be told and listen to staying in the bed and not get out...good luck
My suggestion would to buy a 3 in 1 bed. That converts into from crib to toddler bed to a queen bed. LO is 18 months and I still think she isn't ready for a toddler bed. She doesn't grasb the whole nap not play thing. She stands in her crib if she was close to the floor (like in a toddler bed) she would just climb out and play. When she is older and get the word sleep or no better we might just try it out. Probably whens shes 24 months.

This is a 4 in 1 (not sure what the 4th is though):

You'll save alot on beds in genral. You'll never need a new bed for your child. Good luck!
We have an IKEA crib. $150, simple and safe. It converts into a toddler bed. Those Sweeds know how to raise children.

OK $160, price went up a lil since we bought it.
