What is the worst advice anyone has given to you....?

What is the worst advice anyone has ever given you about pregnancy or parenting? It seemed as soon as people found out I was pregnant I started getting unwanted advice pouring in from every one, even strangers! And a lot of it was just crazy stuff that I wouldn't do! Just wondering :)What is the worst advice anyone has given to you....?
Remember, you're eating for two

(and then I gained 65lbs. I went into labor at 225 lbs and left the hospital with a 7 lb 10oz baby and still weighing 210!!) WORSE ADVISE EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRR!What is the worst advice anyone has given to you....?
I feel yah!! It took me about a year to get down to where I was before I got pregnant. It was hard, because I went almost 9 months with eathing however much I wanted to and anything I wanted to. At least I know next time!!!!

You'll get crazy unwanted advice until the day your child moves out! My daughters almost 4 and I'm 28 weeks with my second so not only am I getting advice about pregnancy, I'm getting advice about caring for a toddler whos been an only child til now. And I havent asked for any of it. I dont remember a lot of the advice because Ive learned how to ignore pretty well but the craziest I remember is ';You shouldnt lift your arms up real high or reach for anything up high or the cord will get wrapped around the babys neck.'; That was my dads totally insane aunt when she saw me washing a window one day.
When strangers asked in the store how many I was carrying, I would answer proudly; 3 :) ! Then they would proceed to say; Haven't you ever heard of aborting some? You would have a better life.

My triplets were born at 30 weeks, 13 weeks ago. In the park today, a lady came up to me and said; why don't you put 2 up for adoption?

I understand that its not everyday that you see somebody who is pregnant with triplets, or has triplets, but please keep your comments to yourself, unless they are nice.
Oh I forget all the crazy advice I got. wait, one was ';breastfeeding is hard and your going to give up after a few times'; that came from my ';loving'; mom.... It turns out that I did breastfeed for 6 weeks then my daughter and I had thrush and it had to clear for a while. So I didn't give up!

But I know how you feel, people told me and still tell me things I will not listen to, lol
My wife is Chinese.

In her home state, the custom is to NOT BATHE OR BRUSH YOUR TEETH for 1 month after childbirth.

I was like.. F** that, honey, you are taking a F***ing shower...

Keep in mind her family is from a very rural part of China, so not all Chinese are like this.
when you breast feed you feed 2 minutes on one side and 3 minutes on another side. I listened and my never understood why my baby was always hungry come to find out you are suppose to let them nurse as long as they want
I had a GF who didn't like me for me and one of my grandparents told me to change to the way she wanted me lol I'd rather stay a wyatt. =D
';He who laughs last doesnt get the joke';

Its the worst. and the funniest at the same time
';If you ever get pregnant, get an abortion.';
';Save yourself for marriage.';
';Just Be Yourself ;)';

i HATE that smile at the end......

Edit. LMFAO at Na CHILL.
My mother in law told me not to immunize my child. Yet she did it for all her 3 sons.
