My brother told me that he would never drop to his knees or cry if a girl hit him in the groin? He even challenged me to a bet on it. Im not sure i can do that?
anybody ever done it? how hard 1-10? how did he react?Girls, i need your advice/experience. What would you do if your brother chellenged you to this bet? ?
Its not nice,
But, If it were my brother being a smart *** like that I would... Just to prove him wrong which yes do it hard enough and he will drop to his knees or at least be in a lot of pain... What else are sisters for?Girls, i need your advice/experience. What would you do if your brother chellenged you to this bet? ?
I wouldn't do it. I've got three siblings. Two of them can make me nuts, but they're some of the best things I've got in life.
Your bro is ignorant and juvenile. But he shouldn't have to suffer for it and I don't think that learning this lesson will make him a much better person. With any luck, he'll stop professing such nonsense as he grows up.
In the meantime, the next time he starts that random bragging, you might say something like, ';OK'; or ';I see,'; and drop the subject.
But I strongly discourange you from hitting your brother.
i had a boyfriend that had his friend kick him in the groin because he was an *** to me,
but on another note, a hard hit to the testes can greatly effect fertility, i would seriously not do it, one because its your brother, gross and two because why the hell would you need to prove this bet?
First tell him it's incredibly stupid, and if he ever wants kids he should call it off.
If he is still so cocky after that, kick him in the balls as hard as you can and see what happens.
Don't bet too much, especially if you're wimpy! (not calling you wimpy, but seriously dont bet too much ;l, what if he's like some super strong emotion holding in guy?) (an easy bet would just to prove it to him. dont bet tons of $$ or items or stinky jobs you dun wanna do :P)

Can you post a genital picture if you need some medical advice?
probably safer not to- just in case you get reported. seeing a doctor is a good suggestion. Can you post a genital picture if you need some medical advice?
Not on this site, no.
You can, however, use your words to describe the problem. I'll check back later, to see if you've added details about it.
Edit:
1) Why do I get a thumbs-down for this accurate answer that's within community guidelines?
2) Dannicka, this is not a reportable question. There's no violation of the community guidelines here. Can you post a genital picture if you need some medical advice?
You can post whatever you want; however, it most likely will be reported and deleted. If you have a medical question of that nature, see your doctor.
Ew. Just go to a doctor. Surely you don't think random people on the internet would be better to take advice from than a licensed professional?
Get the f*ck out of here with your question! You are so f**cking reported.

How would you illustrate this quote? 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?
Women who set a low value on themselves make life hard for all women?
Thank youHow would you illustrate this quote? 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?
the ';FEMALES'; who put themselves out as ignorant, slutty, nasty, and uncaring get more attention then the ';WOMEN'; who do good. And then men will not see the ';WOMEN'; who do right but will only see the ';FEMALES'; who do wrong. so there for they only know the wrong in the female sex. And that's why females who set a low value on themselves bring all women down. How would you illustrate this quote? 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?
Many men stereotype women. That is to say, 1. based on a few encounters with low self esteemed women, many men are likely to conclude all women have low self esteem. 2. In a society where most men expect women to have low self esteem, women become oppressed. 3. Ergo, bright women become underrated and it becomes substantially difficult to reach their potential.
Women sitting around a table. At the end is a woman so small she can hardly look over the table. The other women are looking at her. Her expression is that of hopelessness.
I think the two books by Aldous Huxley, Brave New World (1932) Brave New World Revisited (1958) aptly illustrate the decline and devaluation of the natural function of women i.e. motherhood. Women by taking on the perceived superior status of men as their own have thereby devalued themselves and society. Don't get me wrong, I think patriarchies and their many philosophies are an abject failure; it is only that the remaining good in the world is primarily due to the TLC of mothers and their holding up child-rearing as noble.
Good luck as a ';new woman';, good mental health, peace and Love!
The big myth about motivating myself is that I can do it, or money can, or concern over loosing my job can, or my love of art can. But the reality is that together we can overcome almost any adversity.
That's a toughie! Forgive me if this sounds silly to you, but I was thinking you could perhaps illustrate it by drawing something of a domino affect. How some who fall cause others to fall as well. How each domino/low valued woman affects the others still standing?
It was the first thing I thought of! Hope I helped perhaps.
There's a crowd of women watching and slowly cowering as their leader at the top of a hill is weaking (looking hopeless/helpless, bent over crying). It is sunset and grey clowds are darkening the sky and leaving long shadows down below.

Feminism.
I am sorry that won't get me any points but that is all feminism is. Women who value themselves lowly. If a women thinks she is of the same value as a man well then she is devaluing herself.
Also look at Hillary Clinton. She didn't value herself enough to divorce William after he humiliated her and defiled their marriage in front of the whole world. She still holds on to his coattails in order to get Senate positions and a Presidential nomination. She'd be a much better candidate if William wasn't casting his shadow on her.
To quote my man Kool Moe Dee,,,
';A guy with a hundred girls is a hero
a girl with a hundred guys is a zero
dont blame me blame society
cuz they made the rule
but they made it for me';
A sad, pathetic-looking woman on a platform that many women are holding up above their heads.
perhaps the sad woman is holding an umbrella with a raid cloud above her.
good luck.
I have a mini movie in mind...
The screen is split. On one side is a man speaking on the phone with his significant other. Let's say this man is Arthur, and his love is Gwen. Gwen's on the other screen, looking happily at herself.
The screen blacks out and Arthur is seen alone, going into a shady nightclub. Inside, a man is showing off a prostitute, asking for offers.
Two screens. One side has Gwen, who has just called Arthur. She hears all the commotion in the background: a man asking for a price, men whistling, etc.
The other side is the prostitute from earlier, who has gone into a bathroom to freshen up.
Both Gwen and the prostitute look into the mirror, which is the line between their screens. They look horrified, and it seems they are horrified with each other. Gwen snatches away a golden locket from her neck, takes Arthur's picture from it, and rips it up. She then looks at herself in the mirror, staring at her round stomach. The prostitute meanwhile looks at her face in the mirror; a man can be heard calling out impatiently to her. She begins crying, her tears distorting her make-up.
with women that dress like tarts. it means they dont repect themselves so men dont respect them and then men begin to not respect many women at all.
it drives me mad!
When all girls see is the women in magazines, all that matters is looks not the real person underneath, girls and women will think that's what is right and strive for that.
That's what I think it means.
(ps. Love who you are!)
a group of 7 sophisticated women, wearing black suits and holding a briefcase. All of them standing on the side of the road with a hand up waiting for a cab. Between the 3rd and 4th woman, andothe girl standing with a skimpy outfit, much like a prostitute or hooker, with bright colors. Around this woman, men are cultivating, and trying to get her attention.
This shows that with 7 other successful, goal oriented woman around, the one with no morals is where the men are, amking it twice as hard for the successful women to take any steps further.
Do you want an explanation, or an illustration idea?
I believe the quote means that if woman say they can't do something because they're female, they're bringing down the faith of other women. That woman that thinks they're not as good as a man, says that women can't do the things that a typical man can. Think about how life would be different if we couldn't vote, because one lady in Dallas couldn't make up her mind because she thought that she couldn't vote?
Any way, what I'm trying to say, is that if one woman doesn't have ';Hope'; or ';Faith'; or Sets ';low value'; on themselves, then that female is putting down other women.
Do you get my drift???
Perhaps a depiction of a power-suit wearing Wall Street woman slipping in the vomit of a homeless crackwhore.

What is the strangest advice/old wives tales you have/had recieved?
just wondering if anyone recieved bizarre or strange advice tips or old wives tales....like if you crave sweets it a girl etcWhat is the strangest advice/old wives tales you have/had recieved?
Several older women told me that if you crawl over your husband, then your morning sickness would go away and he would have it instead. I tried it for the heck of it, but it didn't work..lol =)What is the strangest advice/old wives tales you have/had recieved?
The greatest thing about old wives tales is probably that they make us laugh, more than discourage or inspire us, there pretty silly , two spoons on a saucer means marriage, and baby one is if you carry low and it is round like a ball it is a boy if you carry all over it is a girl so there is many for _**births marriage and luck and death --
Crow
One's bad,
Two's luck,
Three's health,
Four's wealth,
Five's sickness,
Six is death.
If a baby is unusually fretful and colicky, it's because a witch is after him/her. Put a broomstick across each of your doorways. Someone will come and not step over the broomstick and may ask you to pick it up. That's the witch. Witches can't step over a broomstick. Keeping the broomsticks across the doorways may calm the baby.
Oh wow, with my first i was told not to hold my arms above my head too long because it would cause the baby's cord to wrap around his/her neck and strangle them. I was told that i HAD to sleep on my left side or the baby couldn't breathe. And i was told the crawl over daddy to get rid of morning sickness to and as we all know all of the above is a bunch of bull LOL. Luckily i love to investigate and look up things and i told all the tale bearers i knew better of course they all still assume THEY are correct LOL.
Yea people say going up and down stairs wraps the umbilical cord around the babies neck..... when i asked my doc he laughed in my face.... haha.
I wish crawling over the daddy would have taken the morning sickness away!! LOL
I do like the one about if the mommy becomes uglier and pimply, the daughter is taking all the beauty, thats what i would like to think! LOL
My mother in law saw me put something on a high shelf and scolded me about lifting my arms over my head, how that would make the umbilical cord wrap around the babies neck. I had to laugh; that was an old wives tale I had never heard before.
If you get a dark line on your belly that goes all the way up to your boobs it's a boy- if not (or it doesn't go far) it's a girl. With the first I had a huge dark line, with the second- no line at all! Both boys! So much for that one!
if you eat twin bananas you'd have twins. if became ugly while pregnant, it's a boy. if you're glowing and beautiful, you're going to have a girl.
I heard that if you become ugly or start getting bad acne or generally losing your good looks during your pregnancy, you're having a girl, because baby girls steal their mother's beauty. ;)
This one is really dark. My Grandmother told me not to let my son look at himself is the mirror because he would die. I did and he lived. It was really morbid though.
if you squeeze your chin and their is no dent then its a boy if there is a dent it is a girl.
Don't eat turkey because it will make you go into labour. Yeah...I still ate turkey.

Can you give me advice on how to find a reliable but not too expensive housecleaner for a large 2 story house?
In most things in life, you can get things Quick, Good, or Cheap. You can generally pick any 2, but you can't get all 3. Sorry! :)
If you are planning to take pharmacy technology is there any advice that you would give a new student?
How was the employment turn out? Is the test hard? any information would benefit me greatly. How extensive are the classes, do you do some type of clinicals if so how many hours, how demanding is the job. How long does it take to become a pharmacist, ect....If you are planning to take pharmacy technology is there any advice that you would give a new student?
I think its a four years bachelor degree program in pharmacy, just like any other degree program. All you need is to study hard and qualify your exams. I hope it turns out good for you.

Believing in our hearts that who we are is enough is the key to a more satisfying and balance life. What does this quote mean? 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?
It just means that we are all OK exactly the way that we are.
We don't need anything to be good enough.
Love and blessings DonWhat does this quote mean? 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?
When you know, in your heart, that you are great as who you are and you dont need to live up to others expectations, you will feel better about yourself thus creating better happy thoughts and such.
It means that you won't spend your time trying to prove yourself to other people because you already know who you are. When you know you are, you are focused on what need to be, not on what people think that you ought to be. It helps to negate a lot of unneccessary negativity. And elimination of negativity increases happiness...
it means the first step for having a good life is loving and accepting yourself.
I think it annoys people when you dangle ';ten points'; like a carrot in front of a mule. You may get more answers if you just ask your question and don't try to manipulate people into answering.
It basically means that if you just simply accept who you are your life will be fine. Don't try to be someone who you're not as this will not be a balanced life, just be who you want to be and do what you want to do
I hope this helps
love who you are and you will be happy and successful in who you are and what you do.
i cant tell u the literal meaning but according to me i think it means to find and kno ones identity is the most important thing in life because witout it u wud probably never be happy nd then one day mite end up realizing tht u wasted ur whole life living someone elses life which u thought was yours but in reality it were the beliefs or thoughts of someone else tht was unknowingly imposed on u.....hope tht helped a little
it simply means';10 points for the best advice
It means that the way to have a more satisfying and balanced life - essentially, a happy life - is to believe that we don't need to be more than who we are, basically, to accept yourself.
That we are the key to our own happiness. If we believe in our self there is nothing we can't do.
This quote could mean many things. The way I see this quote is that if you believe in yourself enough you can accomplish anything and that all you have to do to make things happen for you is believe and have faith in yourself and heart.
I think it means that you can't have everything. There will always be someone better at something. Be happy with who YOU are and not who people WANT you to be. This can, however lead some people to be selfish i think. Depends on the person.
To some it means that tehy can achieve in life with the talents given to them.
To others i guess it means not to try and greatly improve yourself to defeat others or ruin others.
Depends, like most quotes, on the reader i think.
love yourself
it dose mean you can have your hole life looking for it when it in your heart all the time
';Believing in our hearts that who we are is enough...';
- that means that you accept who you are and don't want to be like someone else
';...is the key to a more satisfying and balanced life';
-you will be happy and calm. You won't loose your temper too often.
Putting it together, If you accept who you are you will be happy and calm in your life.
if u believe in urself, ur life will be more satisfying bc u no u can do ne thing u can set ur mind 2
Believe in yourself and you will get more goals done in life and be more sucessful. An unoptomistic person will not get as much dont because they think they can't do anything right.
if you believe in yourself and know you are than you will succeed in anything you want.in other words knowing you are who god made you you will do better for example:if you try to impress somebody be yourself!!Don't act and be somebody you're not and sooner or later that may learn about the real you and that person may not be happy with you for that lie
it means understanding yourself and your purpose is enough to understand how to life life
Content with self but willing to learn and grow. A solid foundation that can be ground for the future.
If you seek happiness you will never find it. If you seek to live with what you have, eliminate want and desire, keep your eyes on the future, you will achieve peace. That is all we can strive for.
who you are is who you are and doesn't matter what anyone else thinks of you because who you are should be enough for anybody else
If you know who you are and are content with yourself, you will not be plagued with insecurity, restlessness, or the desire to be someone else.
If you follow your heart, and be true to yourself you will be content with your life.
It just means that we are all OK exactly the way that we are.
We don't need anything to be good enough.

love yourself
it dose mean you can have your hole life looking for it when it in your heart all the time
';Believing in our hearts that who we are is enough...';
- that means that you accept who you are and don't want to be like someone else
';...is the key to a more satisfying and balanced life';
-you will be happy and calm.
I want to buy a new car what do you advice me?
what is the best web site to compare cars?I want to buy a new car what do you advice me?
dont....
buy a good used car, new cars lose a ton of value the second you take them off the lot...I want to buy a new car what do you advice me?
Go to www.kbb.com
That is Kelly Blue Book online and you can get EXACT dealer cost for any new or used car. It will even price each option for you by how much the dealer pays and how much they will charge you. Print out the info on the cars you are interested in and take them with you to the dealer. As soon as they see you have that info, a lot of the BS goes out the door. Last car I bought I came in the the exact dealer costs, told him I would pay him $400 more for this time and it was a done deal. Good luck!
I really like Autotrader.com because it has the most private sellers. There is still a lot of dealers but you can find a lot of private sells as well. It also has the best custom search tools. I have bought my last 2 cars off of there. Cars.com is also good because it links to many local papers classifides. Good Luck.
How do you want car??
i mean luxurious,economic,stylish???
Don't buy a new car, only companies do that as they can afford it and there are tax benefits of doing so. if you are buying personally buy a good used one, a couple of years old. new cars depreciate enormously the second you buy them, so if you get a 2 year old it will still be in good condition (obviously depending on how it's been treated but will be several grand cheaper. never buy new, really it isn't worth it unless you have money to burn. Buy a 2 year old one and have 2 holidays instead of 1 for the next couple of years!
My advice is buy something that is good on gas and reliable. Also make sure it is something you can afford and like to drive.
try MSN.com or Edmunds.com. you can compare cars in either way pictures or specifications...
I would suggest you buy a low mileage used car. Get one about 3 or 4 years old. You will pay a high price for buying a new one Which is just throwing good money after bad. The money value lost in the first three or four years could be up to 3 to 5 grand. A clean low mileage car is still sound with lots of miles to go. Should you buy a new be ready to eat P %26amp; J sandwiches , plus staying for lack of funds (cash)...
certified pre-owned they are used but not much and they come with warrenties.
craigs list, but thats for used cars. also if this is your first car get a used one. i it's not your first and you have extra money still get a used one and trick it out. you could also get a a new car at www.carsdirect.com
First of all make a list of what you would like in features such as power windows, radio/cd player, seating, etc. Then look at the pro and cons (which can range to repair, insurance costs, and if some of these features are really worth spending the extra cash).
Give yourself a pricing range and stick to it. It is always good to bring a friend if you are not sure about the mechanics. Good luck.

End of month is a great time to BUY your new car, but it is NOT the best time to make your first dealership visit. Salesmen do try harder to make sales at the end of the month, which is about the last five days of the calendar month.
In addition to the end of the month, there are better and worse times of the year to buy. Best time of the year to buy is the end of December, in most dealerships. Dealerships try to make specific quotas for end of month AND end of calendar year, and it is not a popular time to buy, so sales can slump seriously and they will try harder to make a sale, which means a better bargain. If you shy away from buying in the winter because of bad weather, think again: bad weather is when you WANT to be in the car, testing it鈥檚 foul weather capabilities.
Other good times of year to buy are end of August and end of September because the old models are taking up space on the dealership property, and they want to make room for the new models to come in. If your heart is not set on a brand new model, this is an excellent time to buy a perfectly good new car that happens to have been manufactured a few months earlier.
There is a very important BUT to this end of month advice: Do NOT make your very first visit to the dealership at the end of the month. Go to the dealership at the beginning or middle of the month, test drive the cars, get some info, then go home and give yourself two to three weeks to get the best financing. THEN go back at month's end armed with full information and a buying plan. Give yourself a day or two extra in case the first dealership doesn't work out and you need to go to another one. This is a big purchase, don't try to do it all in an afternoon!

Do you own your own business, what is the best advice about owning your own business and what website?
what is it like, what business do you own, what did you do before, how old are you, how many people do you employ, any other useful informationDo you own your own business, what is the best advice about owning your own business and what website?
I own a web development company, eVentureBiz - http://www.eventurebiz.com
Our site is geared toward entrepreneurs. If you want to learn how to think and grow as one, check out my blog.
To answer your question, the best advice I have is to do what you love and always learn (really learn about marketing).
If you do what you love it won't seem like work. To be successful, you have to work hard and many times put a lot of time and effort into it.
More useful information is in my blog and the Relax Cafe part of our website.
Good luck :)

To have a fulltime online job, you need to have some skills that you can offer to others. Advertisements like work 2 hours amd make $$$ will not work for most as it is not a real job. You pay for the work, you will be asked to get more workers like this and will get a part of fee they paid. It is some thing like MLM.
If you know have some skills (writing, marketing, programming, graphics, etc..) you have to try getting work from freelance web sites. Do a search you will get many sites. If you go this path, sell service at low cost at start, so you will get experiance and others will be happy to work with you.
paid to click sites are there, but it is hard work to get few $. What they do is share small amount of cash when you visit a site.
Other way is to make a web site or blog, make it popular and show ads on the web site. Again you will need some skills to do this. So it depends on what you know and what you plan to study.
Hope it helps.

Whats the best saying you've heard/ best piece of advice youve ever been given?
Title says it all.
I like the one thats asks how you can apriciate good times if youve never exprerienced bad.
Also, i cant remember where i heard this, but one which states that you compare your insides to everyone elses outsides. So when you think your the only down person and see everyone else happy, you have to think how they see you, which is also probably happy, so they may be wondering the same thing!
What about you? :)Whats the best saying you've heard/ best piece of advice youve ever been given?
Don't take life too seriously. Nobody makes it out alive anyway.Whats the best saying you've heard/ best piece of advice youve ever been given?
It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop at the end.bright makeup

I want to live a long happy life. What advice would you give me?
What advice would you give me, to help me reach my long term goal of living a long happy life?
Answers are especially appreciated by people who believe they have achieved at least some of this goal (i.e. people with some life experience behind you).I want to live a long happy life. What advice would you give me?
above all else, just remember it is YOUR life and no one elses. you are the only person guaranteed to be with you from the moment youre born until you die. so YOU should always like the reflection of your self.
be compassionate, understanding, and forgiving. dont hold grudges. dont cheat people.
also make sure youre always being genuine. truth trumps everything.
eat a healthy well-balanced diet, exercise--its good for you and helps alleviate stress. dont sweat the small stuff. do activities you enjoy to relieve stress, like gardening, yoga, or painting, etc..
make choices which are in line with your goals.
enjoy the little pleasures, and be grateful for each day youre given. dont ever forget to smile. if you truly love and appreciate all of life, you will radiate each day with an unshakeable optimism that will endure through the good and bad times, it also can help others to find contentment themselves. good luck!
I want to live a long happy life. What advice would you give me?
About a few years ago for about 6-7 years I was completely happyy and the main reason was I looked deep inside of myself, realized who I am%26gt; I was so joyful everyday be even by something less significant, such as the morning dew on plants, flowers, etc. I have always treated others the way I like to be treated, with kindness, respect, friendship, etc. So my happiness came from knowin myself from deep inside, Being true to self, I was always myself; not one to put on different masks. I volunteered for the less fortunate and got immense gratification and happiness from helping others. I think human beings should all help each other; there's euporia in doing so.
Unfortunately two years ago quite a few unhappy, sad, and devestating things happened in my life. I tried to do my best dealing with issues but there were tremendous number of them. I developed severe depression, anxiety attacks, lost sense of my self. I was NOT happy. Through therapy and medication little by little I regain a bit of how I used to be when I was happy. It will take time, and I will get back to the state of healthy sense of self and happiness.
My Advice::
- go deep inside of yourself and find the real you
- have a healthy sense of self and confident and self-awareness
- Help others in any way you can - This for me was the most gratifying thing to do, and made me so happy.
- surround yourself with people who will mutually love you back and you trust.
- if you have the means, learn about other cultures and travel to those places
-pick one favorite exercise, and do it every day. Pick one that really gives you pleasure. I love swimming because it's a very calming experience for me. When I swim, I am happy. I am starting to ge back into it.
I wish you will find what you seek.
A happy, peaceful, contented, and prosperous life is what I wish you.
I know I have achieved happiness, as for a long life... I am only 25 and I could die today or tomorrow or in 60 years, so I don't know.
As for the happiness part, this is what I surmise.
I use to drink and party to be happy. I would try to make the most money I could and spend it on what I wanted. I would be happy for a little while, then I would be depressed and alone. I sought religions and beliefs, such as Wicca, Mormonism, Voo Doo, etc... These would also make me happy for a season but ultimately leave me feeling depressed and sometimes insane. I felt as though I did not belong to anything, anyone, and I had no purpose, the whole ';screw the world'; attitude.
Then I read the Holy Bible, mainly the New Testament and researched its accuracy and message. This book made more sense of life than anything else. I became saved, I felt loved and very happy. I realize now that I am a part of all God's creations, I am never alone, and I have a purpose very day that I wake up. I never have to feel sorry or feel that I must condemn myself for my past or future, it is all in God's hands.
As for longevity, well I am not staying away from things that would harm my health because of my belief, so there ya go.
Love, accept, don't judge, and have compassion. These are just a few things that help to bring true happiness to oneself. It has taken the Dalai Lama a lifetime to pass along his teachings to the world, and a lifetime for each of us to fully understand them and live them. I believe he is one of the few that truly experience the greatest happiness.
For me personally, I focus on why I believe I am here. I feel like I have a purpose to help others. I have been given many gifts, and have learned some along the way.
In short, experience, an open heart, and an open mind are the ways to get there. (IMHO) Much hard work and perseverance also!
Go to God and live the way He wants you to and stop eating processed foods from the supermarket.
Eat as much foodstuff that you can grow, get out of the city, exorcise both body and brain daily. Never retire. Be sure to keep the Sabbath because both body and brain do need a rest whether you feel like it or not. Rest on the seventh day it will rejuvenate you and in order to live the body needs to be rejuvenated on a regular basis. We weren't made for the Sabbath darlin but the Sabbath was made for us.
Unlearn what knowledge you have for your diet and get into a structured and serious study of diet.
Laugh.
Find laughter where ever you can. Love; give it as much as you can to everyone you meet. Even the people you don't like.
That's it in a nutshell darlin I hope this helps you.
I have plenty of life experience. Been through hell and still survived.
The key to a successful life is how big you can dream, how well you can follow direction, and how eager you are to stay with your goal, whatever the goal is. That's it. Simple. (It's different for everybody).
Live fully in each and every moment. Don't wait to find happiness, or love, or peace or joy. The only way to ';find'; those things is to BE them first. Each moment...each breath that you draw, is filled with happiness and peace, and joy, and love, if you just look.
Learn to take things as they come, never worry about tomorrow, and esp learn how to always find something to be thankful for. One more thing to keep in mind: life is what's happening while you're making plans :)
best luck
Always remember where you came from, and try not to ';F'; over the little guys too hard. It's impossible to be happy all the time. You should begin to notice this factoid in your twenties.
dont get married. stay single. no kids. right there if you do them three things. you should have 300,000 in the bank. and with money you wont have stress. stress is a deal breaker.
The only way is to explore self...
Only an thorough understanding of ';yourself'; will help you lead a lengthy and happy life
Stay healthy- both mentally and physically. Eat healthy food. Exercise. Don't be stressed.
Eat healthy, excise, express your feeling and don't stress might cause tension in your body.
do not put poisons in your body, such as alcohol, nicotine and illicit drugs.
Don't Dream It, Be It.

He comes after all parties when they are getting out of line and doesn't let politicians or others get away with trying to wriggle out of tough questions but at the same time he is fair and sticks up for people when they are being accused or something and not in the wrong.
No, he's asking a geniune question.

What are you selling? You should pick a name that relates to what you are selling.
It's a bit tricky to think of names without knowing the nature of your business first, but here's a good place to search for and buy domains... Bargain Beaver (bargainbeaver.com), a new domain company has domains for only $1.99 a year with hosting. Their regular domain price is only $6.95--that's more than 3 bucks cheaper than GoDaddy. I hope this helps.
Um... you are going to have to give some details about your business. www.starbucks.com wouldn't be a good website address for McDonalds.
depends on the business you are starting n the profile... provide with a bit more info, then i'l be able to help you :)

There are so many dogs in the local dogs' home, I'm thinking of adopting one. what advice would you give?
I've never had a dog before, so really need to know what I'm letting myself in for. I want it to be happy as some of them have been severely neglected. I know about taking them out for walks morning and evening, and feeding them, but what else should I know? There are so many dogs in the local dogs' home, I'm thinking of adopting one. what advice would you give?
Rescue dogs spend time in foster homes before they are adopted, they come to you with at least some social skills and some degree of housebreaking!
Training is easier. Whatever additional training needs to be done with a rescue dog will be much easier than training a puppy. It’s like the difference between training a one-year-old child and an eight-year-old. Dogs who have been around for a while just “get it” faster than puppies-especially housebreaking!
The bond is strong. Dogs who have not gotten off to the best possible start in life-who have been neglected or even abused-tend to be very loyal and affectionate. Remember that dogs are pack animals, and they take their treatment by the “pack”-their owners and families-very much to heart. A dog that has been neglected or abandoned once is usually eager to become part of a loving pack, where she feels safe and secure, and is likely to act accordingly. We find that rescue dogs are generally eager to please their new owners. Puppy mill rescues often want to be in your lap at all times and will follow you from room to room, just to be near you.
Fewer vet fees. Rescue dogs have had physical examinations, have been spayed or neutered, have been tested for heart worm, and are up to date on shots. When you buy a puppy, you pay for the dog AND for puppy shots, spaying or neutering, and any other basic medical expenses.
What you see is what you get. When you buy a puppy, you can never really be sure what type of dog you’re going to get. All puppies are cute and playful, but their adult personalities aren’t visible until they’re about two years old. So you don’t know whether you’re getting a dog who wants to play all the time (ALL the time!) or a couch potato. When you rescue a dog, you know what the dog’s personality is like and whether it fits with what you want in a dog companion. You also know, in advance, about any problem areas the new owner will have to address.
Spend some time with each of the dogs that you think you way want to re home then choose the one you feel most comfortable for and can accommodate. There are so many dogs in the local dogs' home, I'm thinking of adopting one. what advice would you give?
It depends on what kind of dog you plan on getting, what age, and whether or not he or she has had prior training.
I'd suggest spending some time with some of the dogs and find one that has a personality that suits you, and preferably a mellow dog. If it's a purebred, research that breed. If it's a mix, do research on the breeds it might be a mix of. Since you've never had a dog, I'd suggest taking a training class with the dog, even if the dog does seem pretty well trained. It's a good bonding activity for you.
I'd try to get a healthy dog. I know it'd be wonderful to save a dog that has medical problems, but it probably wouldn't be the best thing for a first time dog owner.
Dogs are children who never grow up. The depend on you for everything, walks, food, love, affection, companionship. You get out what you put in! I always tell people, walk through your shelter, when you find ';your dog'; you'll know. Your heart will tell you.
They will give you time to meet with the dog and usually the shelter has volunteers who know the dogs well and can answer a majority of your questions.
Consider your lifestyle as well. Are you very active, slightly active - do you work a lot, are you away from home a lot. Can you afford veterinary care, food, toys, etc?
Well, you need to know it is a 12 --17 year commitment.
That vet bills every year run between $150. to $300.. and an emergency can get as high as $1000. these days.
You need to plan on getting a trainer to help you... that costs.. OR you can read books on training, but if you are a first time person.. I suggest you get into a puppy class to help you learn HOW to train.
Dogs do not think like people. If you get a dog that has been abused or neglected... it's even more likely that you will need a trainer to help you ((they are often aggressive or so frightened that they can easily bite out of fear.................
OR at least a friend that is very experienced with dogs and willing to give you a LOT of time.
Make sure that you get one that is guaranteed to be house broken!!!!!!!
Get it in writing that he/she is house broken!!!!!!
After that, most things fall into place.
You need to know dogs are not humans. They are pack animals; they need discipline and you need to train them to respect you as their leader.
This will come down to you , and you only your choice.

I have an interview tomorrow, and if you can see from my questions, I am in need of advice?
I am 6 feet tall, and I have a job interview tomorrow.
Should I wear heels?
I don't want to tower over the interviewer, but I do want to look confident. I also cannot afford to go purchase new shoes just for this interview.
(I do have some small heels, and my interview shoes have a 2 inch heel on them, look very nice... from a second hand shop.
I do have some flat shoes, but they are sandals, and I am in Louisiana... I think that it will be cool tomorrow, so the weather does not permit sandals.I have an interview tomorrow, and if you can see from my questions, I am in need of advice?
I am also 6 ft. tall and ALWAYS wear high heels!! It makes you look more professional wearing heels instead of sandals, flats are good as long as they are dressy and go with what you are wearing. It also lets the employer know that you are confident in yourself and don't mind being tall!! Right now I am wearing some knee high boots that are about 3 inches high with a long skirt!! Don't let it bother ya!! You're model height!!I have an interview tomorrow, and if you can see from my questions, I am in need of advice?
wear whatever shoes go with your outfit.
Your already 6', another 2 inches wont make much difference to the person interviewing you.
It's not your fault that your tall. If you stand up straight and look polished, you will show confidence. Besides, it is said the tall people get paid more =)
Looking confident has much to do with posture.
1)Do not slouch. Align and straighten your spine
2)Pull back your shoulders
3)Head up. Alter your eye level without bowing your head or hunching your back
4)Place your weight evenly on both feet.
You don't need to be tall to look confident although i do agree height can be use as tool to intimidate others.
When it come to shoes, the safest is a harmless black cot shoe which goes with most formal outfit. What is most important however is that you are comfortable wearing that shoe. Meaning it does not make fidget or to stand on one leg. Yup, but if u have a to-die-for shoe which enhance your overall presentation and makes u confident. Go for it.
Definitely don't wear sandals to a job interview unless the job is really casual, but even then I'd dress a little more professional. Most of my female friends are between 5'11 and 6'0 and they wear low heels when a heel is appropriate. Don't worry about your height. Even if you wore flats, the interviewer could be 5'4. There's nothing you can do about that. Just walk in there, look amazing and wow them with your knowledge. Good luck!
wear the shortest heels possible.
most women use heels because they are not tall enough, heels don't make you look confident. it's the height behind the heels that does. and you're already tall for a woman.
but wearing sneakers or sandals to an interview is unprofessional so just wear the smallest heels you have.
what?
anyway good luck!
I would keep the look as if you intend go with the 3'; heels. That should not play a part in your, I would not go with a flat if your wearing a suit and never go in sandals. They do not look very professional.
I think you should wear the two inch heels and a black dress. It doesn't look too overpowering, and black dresses can look both simple and elegant. I go with the black dress!
Wear the heels honey, stand proud of your height, you'll look more confident and professional. They aren't going to not give you the job because of your height!
Honey, you can't help your height!!
Wear the shoes that look the nicest with your suit (2'; heels or otherwise!), hold your head up high, put those shoulders back and smile! Walking into that interview with confidence will make a better impression than flats will any day.
Good luck!
Wear the 2-inch heels. It's better to look your best than looking frumpy by wearing flats.
If you don't get hired because the Human Services V.P. or other officers are secretly intimidated by your height, you definitely do not want to work there anyway.
wear shoes in which you feel most confident and which look the newest.

I need advice on installing exterior Stucco - I live in New Orleans, can you help?
I am renovating a Katrina flooded home I purchased. It currently has siding on the second story and we want to remove the siding and install stucco. I have heard that I need to be careful with different types of stucco. Could someone explain the best, most affordable type of stucco that I should use. I have been told that EIFS is not good and that I should not go with traditional stucco either which is too heavy. But I am confused as to other types of stucco, like ';DEFS'; or ';System'; or ';conventional'; Can someone give me some input? Thank you! :o)I need advice on installing exterior Stucco - I live in New Orleans, can you help?
Don't use any type of stucco, synthetic or real. Too many problems with it especially in your humid area.
A better bet is hardie board type siding. It's a cement fiber siding, looks great and is very weather resistant. You can find some info here http://www.hardie.com/homeowner.htmI need advice on installing exterior Stucco - I live in New Orleans, can you help?

EIFS is great. Just remember to use a cement board or densglass as the substrate. EIFS does not belong on wood.
Conventional stucco is basically sand and cement stucco. (Lime is used for the finish coat)
EIFS is far more superior to conventional stucco because the lamina is only 1/4'; thick so it isn't susceptible to cracks and because of it's insulation value.

I use the process often. You might check out this link.Need your advice if you know something about Geomancy (FengShui )?
I'm not sure what a bagua is but a small mirror facing to the outside or some windchimes might help
if you mean a bagua symbol hanging across from you, usually red with a tassle on it, that is not bad for you, unless you just think it is ugly. the idea for your neighbor is that it is supposed to bring positive energy to him. He'd be better off with a hummingbird feeder or red flowers. For you, if you do not like the bagua, find a window covering that lets in light, but filters the view.

What advice would you tell someone who wants a career change..?
wants a better JOB..wants to help other people...What advice would you tell someone who wants a career change..?
Depends on their experience and knowledge.
Also depends on what ';Better Job'; means to them. For some people, it's only about money. For some people, they want to do something that they enjoy. Hard to answer your question without knowing your answer to those things.
I can tell you that many very successfuly people I have spent time with (business owners, sports agents, non-profit directors) all have said that they were very focused on being the very best at something they enjoyed. They worked at the bottom of the barrel and worked harder than everyone else, and the money came eventually. What advice would you tell someone who wants a career change..?
1. Read ';What Color Is Your Parachute'; by Bolles.
2. Determine if you want a change in industry, job role or job discipline.
3. Identify organizations that are tacking the type of problems you want to be a part of solving, research them, and find people in your network who can refer you to these companies.
4. Define what a ';better'; job is for you.
5. Define what you don't want in your next job.
6. Define the transferable skills and experience you have in your present resume that you can sell to get your better job.
7. Organize your resume by skill first then by job chronology
8. Be sure to cite the positive results you have achieved on your resume as companies are purchasing results and skills not job chronologies and descriptions.
9. Determine if you want to work for yourself or others
10 . Persist knowing that the ';better'; job usually is about to come right when you give up.

Tell them they need a huge hug!!What advice would you place to a person who hates everyone?
Tell them to post questions on yahoo answers, they'll fit right in.What advice would you place to a person who hates everyone?
Good question! I have no idea.
Watch that hate. It's hard on the heart, and bad for your blood pressure.
That person may have been mistreated terribly in their life.
They are defensive for a reason. There are other possible reasons but only theoretical. Maybe the person isn't from this planet and are having a difficult time adjusting.
Maybe that person is being influenced by darkness.
Maybe the person is Bipolar.
Maybe the person is suffering from depression.
Maybe the person just does not like people very much.
Hate is a strong word to use. Maybe the person just is looking for love subconsciously.
Life would be miserable if you hated everyone.
Why don't you ask them the reason they don't like people?
Rev. TomCat
Tell em 2 chill or just dont talk to em.
Why would I give them any advice?
Tell that person to get a bottle of sweet oil...take two tea
spoons full before going to bed...take a photo of itself

person to recite over and over...it's just me and me because
I hate everyone else! Tell this person to do this for one week
and see how lonely life like this can be. In the meantime,
you must help this person by seeing to it this is done and
you are not trying to be 'the only friend'...remember, this
person 'hates' you too!
You have to love yourself to love others.
People who go through life hating everything and everyone usually live a lonely life. I've even seen cases where their body health deteriorates as a result of holding on to so much negativity.
Apparently the person is miserable and hurt by something that happened to them in their past. Someone or many people obviously mistreated them. Compassion is the only answer, the meaning of compassion is to suffer with, not for the person. There is no advice for them but to help them find their way and show them people are not all bad it is just who they surround themselves with.

A person who hates EVERYONE has a very deep problem that cannot be tackled by advice. I think therapy might be the answer.
';The world would seem much more a beautiful place if you see love in people, and you would be so much happier if you have love in your life.';
Prepare yourself for a lonely, empty, delusional life.
hatred is a bad thing ,i'd advise him to reconsider all his attitude
Don麓t look at yourself in the mirror.
Tell them to maybe lighten up a little and not be so harsh
why should i give any advise at all, these people are usually nihilists (not like i have anything against them)
Tell them to post questions on yahoo answers, they'll fit right in.What advice would you place to a person who hates everyone?
Tell that person to get a bottle of sweet oil...take two tea
spoons full before going to bed...take a photo of itself
and cuddle up for the night. The next morning, have the

If my brother wants to go to law school this fall? 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?
He took LSAT last May. When he will recieve the decision from university whether he has been accepted or rejected.
I am talking about 20 top law schools in the country.
Thank you so much.If my brother wants to go to law school this fall? 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?
When did he submit his applications? The date he took the LSAT doesn't matter if he submitted his applications after taking the LSAT (and if he took the LSAT last may, he must have applied last fall, and not the fall before lsat, right?)
So, in what month did he send in his complete applications.
Responses can be as fast as 3-4 weeks, or as long as 4-5 months, at the top 20 schools.
You can get a fast acceptance if your GPA and LSAT are clearly high for the school, or you can get a fast rejection if your GPA and LSAT are clearly below the school's standards. But if your stats fall somewhere ';in the middle,'; then it takes longer because the law school will wait to see what other students are applying to them before they decide on your application.
Of course, essays, extracurriculars, and recommendations also matter, and can speed up your application (if they are very good or bad) or slow it down (if they are very average--again, the school waits to see other candidates). But LSAT and GPA matter most.
So, it's not possible to determine exactly when law schools will respond to you; it depends how you compare to the other applications they received.
When I applied to law school a couple of years ago, I got into Duke, Columbia, and Harvard within 3-4 weeks of completing my application. However, it took 5 months for me to get into Stanford, and I was also rejected from Yale and U Penn ) about 5 months after applying. If my brother wants to go to law school this fall? 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?
lawyer suck. they get paid to do nothing
IIRC--and I'm not sure I do--decisions arrived in April.
Check the websites of several of the places he applied to. They may say when decision notices are mailed.
He did submit applications last fall in addition to taking the LSAT, yes? They're not just going to look at his score; they need to read his essays, too.
That said, assuming he did send everything in, I don't know that it looks very good for him if he hasn't heard anything yet. My friends who are applying for 2008 already have several offers to choose from, plus some rejections and waitlistings.
The words ';If my brother wants to go to law school this fall?'; is meaningless. It is not a question and no one can decipher what you want. Try again
It really depends on his LSAT scores. Some of the law schools also require a letter of recommendation from one of his previous professors. Keep your fingers crossed that he will be accepted.

why did you propose to her? she seems high maintenance. not someone you want to live with your whole life. this woman is ridiculous. who doesn't want to kiss their fiance? does she want to save her first kiss with you on her wedding day?

If he's your friend then you have to support him no matter what. He loves her so that's all that matters.
Keep your mouth shut it can only hurt you if you speak up.

What advice can you give a jealous girlfriend with a flirty boyfriend?
Chill....xxBWhat advice can you give a jealous girlfriend with a flirty boyfriend?
Relax, if he's going to play around he'll do it then you know to let that one go. BUT, the guys that I've dated that were flirty ended up being the ones I had to be least concerned about! What advice can you give a jealous girlfriend with a flirty boyfriend?
i am a gal who get jealous easily...because im an emotional person..but after the last breakup coz of my insecurities...i learnt that we gotta have trust in a relationship...
look on the bright side...ur the one with ur bf...not who he flirts with! so think positive..if he's a flirty bf...then he must be good..or else other gals won't wanna flirt with him...and since thats the case and ur with someone attractive like him..think of urself as very lucky :) and don't let ur insecurities and jealousy ruin ur relationship
Well maybe you're not really meant to be. If he acts that way knowing he had this jealous girl, he doesn't respect his g/f and it's not love at all.
Gentle flirtation is actually healthy! It keeps us feeling good about ourselves. As long as it is ';just flirting'; you should take it as a compliment, I mean would you rather have a guy that no girl would flirt with? Last but not least... if he stops looking and flirting, that is when you should worry because that means he's not interested in any women at all!
My advice is simple and easy to follow. If you 2 have not worked out anything or even talked about this issue then you 2 are should probably go your different ways. As a man I personally would never flirt with other women if I have a girlfriend but since you have one that does, and you are getting jealous ( which is ok to some extent ) then you need to talk to him. If he can't stop then you should not have to deal with that stupidity. Ultimately he's making you upset and should know it does but some men are just dumb.
What goes around comes around! If he feels OK about doing it while he going out with you, he sure wouldn't mind if you did it! Go for it! All is fair in love and war........
You need to work on your own self esteem. I have had girl friends that were even jealous of my family. It could cause serious problems in the future if you cant control it. It may help talking to him about it too but don't try to change him because it will never work. The way he interacts with people may be one of the things that you like about him and also may make a large difference in how he does in his work. It could very easily be that he is just a people person and may be very good with sales or customer relations. A lot of great people like to make other people feel good about themselves, Get on their level and interact with them. Look at who he is flirting with. When he tells two ton Tisha with pimples who is checking him out at Wal-Mart that he likes her fingernails, Is that something that you should be jealous of?

What advice would you give to a woman who doesn't get approached a lot by men?
Im having problems, what can I do? :(
Plus, im VERY shyWhat advice would you give to a woman who doesn't get approached a lot by men?
Join the club. I am shy and do not get approached by women a lot either. I can tell the same old junk you have been hearing. The reality is you have to buck up. I say take the initiative and ask a shy guy out, just make conversation. Maybe guys find you to pretty to approach and are intimidated. Maybe they think you hafe a boyfriend(I assume this a lot). Make eye contact and smile a lot. When you do get into a conversation be genuinely interested in what they are saying.

i think guys in general fear rejection. if you do not show interest in them in the first place, it's hard for them to gather up and approach you.
hence, try to make some eye contact when you're out; find a guy in interest and try to look at him in his eyes. if he looks back and doesn't look offended, then smile and look away in a flirtatious way. if he's interested, he should approach u~
Just be yourself and the right guy will find you. You are very pretty and have nothing to worry about.bright makeup

I wish to thank you all for the advice you gave me, about my little dog 2-08-08?
2-08-08 my little dog that bit a big piece of her tongue off. We still don't know how it happened or if we ever will. She's doing fine now. She was on medication and now is eating her regular food and drinking water out of a bowl, without a baby medicine dropper. She is getting back to her old self again. Thanks again for the advice.I wish to thank you all for the advice you gave me, about my little dog 2-08-08?

Have you ever taken a spin class? Any advice for my first time?
Hello, I signed up to take an 8 week spin class starting this weekend. WHat should I expect? How intense is it? What should I wear? Thanks.Have you ever taken a spin class? Any advice for my first time?
It will be VERY intense and it is OK if you can't keep up with others who are used to this kind of workout.
You should wear sneakers, and tight fitting work out clothes- lycra if you have it. Or just sweats that are comfy and are knww length. YOu van wear shorts, too if you're comfortable, but you will be peddaling fast and at times standing up from the bike.
The music will be fast dance music most likely and the instructor will speed up the pace and then take it down a litle, but it will be intense and youwill sweat!Have you ever taken a spin class? Any advice for my first time?
i took spin classes and it whooped my butt!! don't get me wrong it was a good kinda whooping. make sure to take a big bottle of water and a towel-- your gonna need both. make sure the instructor knows your new so that he doesn't expect you to be preforming like advanced members. start out at your own pace, and don't be afraid to slow down, lower the resistance, and not do all the fancy things, sit down, or whatever you need to make yourself comfortable. it will take several classes before you get the routine down and learn some of the moves well-- take your time and don't push yourself too much, you don't want to get hurt.
have fun.

What advice would you give to a cook/chef about cooking vegetables?
don't overcook vegetables because then they are mashy, they lose their natural taste and vitamins and no one likes eating them. besides overcooked vegetables don't look appealingWhat advice would you give to a cook/chef about cooking vegetables?
Don't cook them too hard--crisp vegetables still have their nutrients, but softened vegetables have lost a lot of the good stuff. Steamed vegetables are great and steamers don't cost too much. You can spice up vegetables with a touch of your favorite salad dressings and a little bit of parmesan cheese. One of my favorites is to take Fat Free/Low Fat Ranch (and type), a little bit of Low Fat cream cheese, some dijon mustard, heat slightly to soften the cheese, stir it up and toss with cooked broccoli/cauliflower. Vegetables are great in soups--I love turkey with broccoli, green beans, corn, potatoes and peas--stews, casseroles and meat pies. The easiest way to prepare them is to heat frozen vegetables in the microwave (those are the ones that I typically use in a casserole or tossed with dressing; hides the frozen/thawed flavor). The best tasting vegetables are fresh ones, though! What advice would you give to a cook/chef about cooking vegetables?
I often make salads for friends and I add the smallest amount of salad dressing. They are shocked, the are offended, am I so cheap.
But then they taste it, and they absolutely love it. Because I buy nice fresh vegetables and the salad dressing should only be there to enhance the flavour.
In many restaurants the salad dressing is the flavour, so they can use horrible tasting vegetables.
Basically vegetables are lovely. Keep it simple. Use sauces and flavours to enhance, never over power the vegetables.
Well this doesnt give much to go on , what specificly would this Chef/Cook want to know.
Braising , grilling, stewing.. ect., we need to know more. And when that happens I would be glad to give more of an indepth answer.
OK so I see that didnt get a response so check out the following links on Tips every chef/cook should know and Cooking Terms about vegtables and other items. ok I know you probably dont want links to look at but really if your serious about learning to become a chef or better yourself as a cook these will benefit you in the end. Ive been a Caterer for 8 plus yrs now and I still go back to the books to learn or refresh my memory on things I dont use in everyday prepration. Good luck
Most important is to make sure they are clean. It is the most disgusting when you get out and restaurants forget to clean the veggies and fruit properly. Besides it is one of the main reasons people get food poisening.
How to cook them depends on what it is served with and individul taste. I like my veggies chewy. My in laws like them thoroughly cooked, so cook them as you would yourself.
Steam it, try to keep as much of the nutrients in, ans SEASON! Seasoning would be the best advice because you can't always drench your veggies in a cheese or cream sauce. Seasoning with spices, yum!
eat them raw - when you cook them you destroy the enzymes your body needs to digest them and the amino acids (protein) that your body needs ..

What is the best software for stock market advice, an adviser telling you when to get in and out.?
Any software for stock market advice will give you huge regret. Depend on your knowledge %26amp; experiance. Develope both. There is no software available to do what you want. Look at the performance of Mutual Funds...... they have much more money to spend on ';software'; for advice than you. They may have software to work the numbers..... but humans pick the stocks (human vs software... humans win.... sometimes Monkey's do better than both (that's a fact).
Most ';stock advisors'; perform below the average of the S%26amp;P 500. You could buy a low cost ETF on the S%26amp;P and do better than 80% of the managed Mutual Funds (over long periods of time).
Depend on yourself %26amp; you have a chance. Depend on some ';expert';....... you'll be disapointed.
Please read as much as you can on stock investing. You'll find that I'm correct. GOOD LUCK!What is the best software for stock market advice, an adviser telling you when to get in and out.?
Hi,
The best software is Vector Vest if you can afford it.
Here is a free Web site for charting stocks: (http://www.incrediblecharts.com/).
First of all, stay away from ';professional brokers'; and tips coming to you via e-mail or friends and acquaintances.
Hey! They will say anything to get you to buy their junk. If it's too good to be true, it is.
Remember this, they are just sales people trying to sell you what their firm is pushing. They are not security analysts or financial planners, not even financial advisers. Trust me, I know from experience that they cannot be trusted especially with a million dollars. You risk losing it all. A million dollar account is known as a ';whale'; and they would love to get their greedy little paws on it and suck it dry. They just want to make commissions on what they buy and sell for the suckers, err...clients..
Risk avoidance is the name of the game.
Remember, the harder I work, the luckier I get.
Penny stocks are great and speculative, but I would avoid the ones under a dollar a share. For example, Best Buy started at less than $5. So there are some good companies, but it takes a lot of digging to find the good ones. You are looking for companies with good earnings, little debt, low capitalization, and good P/Es. For stocks under $5, very few will meet these requirements.
Stay away from the pharms unless they have patented drugs - do not invest in generic pharms, no growth there.
Check out which business sectors are the most popular and invest in the companies in those sectors. The number one, two and three are: technology, health care, and cyclicals (retail). These change every few months.
Watch CNBC, but don't pay too much attention to the talking heads, except for Jim Cramer, the wild man - but he tries to teach you how to invest and has some great advice.

Most mutual funds do not even keep up the the return on the S%26amp;P. That's like 99% of them.
Vanguard Index funds are a no brainer.
A CD is better than a savings account. They range from six months to several years. You cannot touch your money tho until the time limit is up.
Check out this Web site on Direct Investment Plans where you can buy shares directly from companies: (http://www.fool.com/School/DRIPs.htm). Usually no fees and you can buy one share at a time.
Bonds are probably the safest. You might try a bond fund. They might return 5 or 6 percent. At 5% a million would return $50,000 a year - not a bad income. Remember, you have to pay taxes on the $50,000.
There are also municipal bonds and the income from them is taxfree especially if you buy them in a state that offers them, but they only pay about 3%, but it's mostly taxfree.

What advice can you offer me?
I bought a male shih-tzu and he is always crying . It will be 3 weeks at the end of this week that I bought him. He seems as if he just wont adjust . Why? It's very fustrating everything I have gone and done for him has not helped ease him up. I have a 1 yr old shih-tzu and I never had this much problems. My 1 yr old settled in with us with in 3 days. I know that when I got my 1 yr old he was 10 weeks old and my new one he was only 7 weeks old. Ya BIG DIFFERENCE! But I figure he'd adjust by now. he'll cry all day and night. I think he's hungry but he eats like tomarrow! He eats more then my older one. I make it comfortable in he's crate blanket/ stuff animal and all.. I only crate him in the night for he's safety. Anyone has any advice. I was thinking about putting him back on milk. I 'm planning on calling the vet in the morning cause this is crazy....What advice can you offer me?
3 weeks should be enough time for a new puppy to adjust.
I would definitly take him to a vet..there may be some sort of medical issue. What advice can you offer me?
The vet is a good idea. Or, teach him something to occupie him. Teach him how to swim. Or, take him to the park and let him run around. The leash isn't a good idea but he might run away. Let him loose in a big yard then. When he is happy, he'll get occustomed to not crying and things.

and yes THE AMERICAN IDOL JUDGE !What advice would you give simon cowell?
Marry me.
rofl I'm kind of kidding...anyway...
I would tell him not to be so harsh. What advice would you give simon cowell?
Before you criticize someone's appearance again, look in the mirror.
My advice would to not be as harsh...
I mean some people are mean but he is REALLY mean!
maybe to stop dating chicks half his age, but other than that, nothing, because he's perfect.
Be nicer.
None. He's so f*cking funny!
Dont talk if you cant do better!
to learn how to be nicer.
Smile, babe.

Any advice you would like to give to a 15 year old becoming a sophomore in high school?
Don't screw up this year! I'm not even kidding.
Do your very best and make sure you get good grades.
Colleges look at sophomore and junior year for admissions.
Junior year is hell, and sophomore year is not half as bad.
So get good grades this year and don't slack off.
Start preparing for SATs.Any advice you would like to give to a 15 year old becoming a sophomore in high school?
I'm 15 as well, becoming a sophmore. (WOW! We have a lot in common! lol) I take it you're female, from the looks of your avatar... (I'm not, haha)
Some advice:
DON'T LET PEER PRESSURE SUCK YOU IN!!
Do the absolute best that you can.
Remember: the performance you make in high school sticks with you forever, and can determine whether or not you go to college, ultimately determining the course of your life ( a little 'deep', hehe)
Focus on schoolwork. Not on party's or videogames. Relationships are okay, as long as they don't deterr you from succeding in school, and keep it clean!! *cough* stay a virgin *cough*
Uh.. yeah, where were we?
Don't procrastinate. This is my worst enemy. You can stop by (20 times earier said than done) just telling yourself that ';it has to be done, so do it!';
I'll add more sometime... (unless you don't want me to, lol)
Hope it helps!! It worked for me last year!

Any advice you would like to give to a 15 year old becoming a sophomore in high school?
Have fun, but i wish i would have made a goal for myself at that time and didn't worry so much about what others thought, i'm only 22 and already realized that what everyone says about the friends u have in high school is true, very few last and things change like crazy so like i said have fun but remember there is life after high school when u actually have to grow up.
work hard and get ready for college + life outside of/after highschool.
yes, there is a world outside of/after highschool.
enjoy extracurricular activities (sports/clubs/plays/etc) while you're there though.
don't get into drugs/sex/crime.
sophomore year was by far the hardest and worst year. be prepared.
hey im becoming a sophmore too!!
i dont think we have much to worry about, at least not until junior year.
Have fun now becuase your gonna go through hell later on!!!

I take my Driver's Test tomorrow, what advice can you give me for passing?
I'm a little nervous, but I REALLY need/want to get my license. I take my test tomorrow at 9am, so I'm hoping there won't be too much traffic, but despite that, what advice can you give me? What should I emphasize, and what should I avoid completely (if anything)? Thanks for your help and stories! :)I take my Driver's Test tomorrow, what advice can you give me for passing?
Make sure you get a sufficient amount of rest, the night before. Try not to think about the test itself to much. Eat a good, hearty breakfast. Listen and/or watch anything positive, before you leave your house, to go take your test.
After you pass your test, always remember. You now have the right, under our countries constitution, and laws that protect, to operate a vehicle. With this, comes great responsibility, as you must already know. Throughout the rest of your entire life, as a licensed driver in this country, you should be aware and always remember some do's and don't's of having a valid driver's license:
Do not ever, drive your car or anyone else's, after you've consumed any amounts of alcohol and/or drugs (including prescription drugs).
Do drive cautiously at all times (never assume).
Do carry driver's license, proof of vehicle registration and insurance information on the vehicle, that you are operating.
Do not drive while upset, mad or emotionally charged up.
Do keep your vehicle clean and smelling nice, at all times (nothing worse than a stinky and dirty car. Especially one that smells like ***).
Do buckle your seat belt at all times.
Do not have sex in your vehicle (bad luck) ever.
Do not exceed speed limits anywhere you drive (do not speed).
Do offer to drive elderly family members to appointments and trips to visit other relatives.
Do offer to pick up family members from school, work, etc.
Do not drive alone into areas unfamiliar, dark, without road signs, far away from people, without proper street or road lighting.
Do carry a really good flashlight in your vehicle, at all times.
Do carry and listen to music that really makes you happy, in your vehicle, at all times. (This will prevent you from getting upset at other irresponsible, rude and crazy drivers, around you).
Do not throw air fresheners at other driver's (especially the ones that cut you off the road).
Do enjoy driving to and from your destinations.
Do not stop to pick up hitch hikers and/or total strangers (to avoid car jackings, robberies, physical pain, etc.).
Do carry a small tool box (with basic tools) in the trunk of the vehicle. Along with road flares, a small empty gas can (at least 1 gallon), extra anti freeze or water, duck tape, etc. In the event of being stalled or experiencing engine problems. (relating to those who do not have triple A or have a very used vehicle to drive).
Do check your spare tire. Proper air pressure, etc.
Do check all vehicle fluid levels on a regular basis.
Do not let anyone, borrow your car. Unless they are very trustworthy.
Do not use you vehicle to hide anything for anyone.
Do not watch videos in your vehicle, while driving.
Do not talk on cell phones, while driving. (Women, are you paying attention?).
Do not eat, while driving (unless you are absolutely starving and need the carb's, to drive a long distance).
Do not veer or sway away from an animal, directly in front of your vehicle, at the last second. This will cause you to crash into something or worse. Someone will crash into you. You are far more important, than any squirrel, cat, dog, deer, skunk, possum, snake, rat, bird, tree branch or anything else. Hit it! And forget it! Unless, it's a human being, of course.
Do place infant, toddler's, small children in designated car seats, while driving.
Do not drive with distractions in the car.
Do have sufficient amounts of fuel or gas in your vehicle, at all times.
(Trust me. You do not want to be stranded and/or out of gas in the middle of nowhere, in some small hick town, in Texas. And be considered a minority, in this country).
Do drive cross country with a friend or friends, at least once in your driving lifetime. (one of the best times, I've ever had in my life).
Do all the things, that a responsible individual should always be doing, while driving a vehicle. Be the example to everyone around you.
Do not drive, act or be like everyone else, when you drive. Be you.
Good luck on your test and have fun driving, while being safe always.
The Jian.I take my Driver's Test tomorrow, what advice can you give me for passing?
what a ******* retarted answer. seriously that makes me so mad, it did not answer the question and was extremely partronizing. Like stfu.
1. Parallel Parking: Park midway between two standards so that your car is not more than 18 inches from the curb.
2. Quick Stops: Drive at a speed of 20 miles per hour and make a quick, safe stop when the examiner instructs you.
3. Backing: Back your car for a distance of about 50 feet, at a slow rate of speed, and as straight and as smoothly as possible. Turn your head and look back at all times while backing.
4. Stopping for Signs or Traffic Signals: Give the proper hand or brake signal; approach in the proper lane; stop before reaching a pedestrian crosswalk; and remain stopped until you may move safely through.
5. Turnabout: Turn your car in a narrow space using two-, three- or five- point turns.
6. Use of Clutch: If your car has a standard transmission, you must shift smoothly and correctly.
7. Approaching Corners: You must be in proper lane and look in both directions.
8. Yielding Right-of-Way: Always yield right-of-way to pedestrians, motor vehicles, bicyclists or anyone else who moves into the intersection before you.
9. Turning: Get into the proper lane and give signal an adequate distance before reaching the turn.
10. Passing: Always look ahead and behind to make sure you can safely pass without interfering with other traffic.
11. Following: Do not drive too closely behind other cars. Watch the car ahead of you; when it passes some reference point, such as a telephone pole, then count ';one-thousand-one, one-thousand-two.'; If you pass the same spot before you are through counting, you are following too closely.
12. Posture: Keep both hands on the steering wheel. Do not rest your elbow on the window and do not attempt to carry on a conversation with the Examiner because they will be busy giving instructions and recording your score.
At the end of the test, the license examiner will gladly show you your score sheet and will provide you ample opportunity to discuss the test if you so desire. The applicant must achieve a minimum score of 75% to pass.
Try to stay as calm as possible. Be nice to the examiner, and make sure to smile. Drive about 5 miles under the speed limit the whole time. Remember to come to a complete stop when you're done backing up BEFORE you face the front again. Take your time with the parallel parking and the three point turn. If you can, have a parent or your Driver's Ed teacher take you through the course once before the test; it will make you less nervous.
Turn OFF the radio and listen to the inspector. He knows you're nervous but it is not his job to fail you.
Most tests are simple, turn left, turn right, stop (quickly not suddenly)
pull into the parking lot here, Parallel parking is the only real test, the rest is just driving around.
REMEMBER to say thank you.
you see dear, right there is your biggest problem. you have to settle those nerves. make sure you use those turn signals even when your parelle parking. also make sure you fasten those seat belts and make sure the instructor fastens his/hers too before starting out, they will try to fool you on that seat belt thing.
If its just the driving part then don't worry the only hard part is parallel parking but then again its not bad. if you still have to take the written part i suggest reading the little book they give you, read it and memorize it its not long but all the answers are in it
Remember to use your mirrors. They want to see that.
And when you stop behind another vehicle a good rule of thumb to remember for distance is if you cant see their back tires, then your too close to them (and you might get docked for it.) Good luck sweet heart!!
stay calm, don't make a big deal over one little mistake. use your mirrors and make it obvious that you are. don't be nervous.
