we have done a good job of raising our kid's, but as there getting older I am worried that theyll soon be getting there heads filled with such nonsense in 'science' class that they turn away from Jesus and are tempted in to sin.
I think homeschooling is the best way for them to grow up to be well ballanced intelligent Christians, not the kind of person who thinks there great great grandparent's where monkey's!Fellow Christians, can you give me any advice on homeschooling?
if you read the bible to them,they will be able to tell the difference in what is right and what is wrong.like this guy who works tracking counterfeit 20 dollar bills. how do you tell which one is real ,someone asked him,so he handed him a fake one and he felt it,then he handed him a real one and he said wow this is the real one.they can feel the difference when they hear untruths.Fellow Christians, can you give me any advice on homeschooling?
brother in Christ i think you done good so far raising your kid but here some advice when you write stuff insulting evolution people are going to insult you back so i recommend don't do that no more and someone here said that when they get out to the real world there going to find about evolution so i recommend that you check out some christian apologetics websites and teach your kid about intelligent design against evolution that way your kid can defend his faith. You might want to find kids that are christians that way your kid can play with someone.
';intelligent Christians';
You mean the ones who think that snakes and donkeys can talk, the dead can rise, that the earth is held up by pillars, that spirits can go into your house and kill your sons, and that you should kill every homosexual, every non-Christian, and every child that has ever disobeyed their parents?
Poe?
Plus, science gave you pretty much everything you will ever use in your lifetime, so feel free to stop using it if you don't like it.
And leaving out science from homeschooling will hinder any chance of your children having any prominent jobs.
That's the problem with growing up. Eventually, they will become exposed to the real world (unless you have made plans to lock them up for the rest of their lives). The longer you hold off preparing them for life, the more likely they are to reject your faith when it happens.
We can teach our kids or our next generations with our own living which is bound to God's will. They will see that we live by the Lord's will and will live in peace...the peace that only Jesus can give...they in time will see the difference of what a joy and a fake happiness is...

Yeah, you really look like you can successfully educate a kid, especially with those misplaced apostrophes.
I feel so sorry for your poor, brainwashed children. Good luck to them getting into college without any science in their curriculum!
*implied facepalm*
When an action is just so F*CKING RETARDED it doesn't even require an actual *facepalm* to describe.
Don't trust science? Don't use science. Go live in a hut somewhere without electricity.
As a Christian, educator, spouse of someone who was home school and observer I have my opinions, but for the real answer. Ask God, not us. Follow His direction for each of your children. No two kids are the same.
As for home schooling, you have given some reason why you would do it and to be honest none of them are valid. Your kids are no going to grow up to think their grandparents were monkey just because they go to a public school. If they do then you as a parent have failed, for you have far more impact on your child鈥檚 beliefs that any other person. If you do not you must be absent in your child鈥檚 life. As for them turning away from Jesus, they are statistically equally as likely or unlikely to turn away from ';Church'; no matter where they are educated. The issue comes down to something very simple that most parents do not do. The child is born dependant on the parents. As they grow older this dependence is encouraged by the parents. Sadly even more so in most home school situations. Then one day the child is sent out into the world to live their own life and make their own decisions. They have been dependant and sheltered by mom and dad and now they are given the freedom and responsibility to make their own choices. HERE IS THE ISSUE. As parent the responsibility for decision making needs to be transferred not from Mom and Dad to the child, but from Mom and Dad to God. They need to become dependant on God, not dependant on self. That goes back to my original statement. You need to ask God for His direction in your life, and you need to teach them to seek God for direction in theirs. If you do this, they will likely stay with God. If you do not the education issue really doesn鈥檛 matter, they will follow self and go the way you don鈥檛 seem to desire. If you want to talk more drop me a line.
