I've been advising My Father (Who has Managed things from Factories to Insurance Companies, Handles Millions a week, and Friends with many Bank Managers and Government dudes) on How to handle his money, and His newest things.. Depends on the 14 year olds maturity level.. you seem quite mature for your age, and it's obvious that your advice hasn't driven your dad to bankrupcy yet, so you must know what you're doing..lol

but im 14 and my dad nvr takes my advice and usually im right... so i might be a bit biased
It would depend on how business savvy the 14 yr old is. Some of these youngsters are making good money in the stock market and creating businesses themselves.

I would listen because I am always open the financial opinions of others. Whether or not I act upon it will be my decision.
